Dog Gate Redo

Howdy!

Today Jay and I are hard at work on a project that has been begging to be completed for the last few weeks. This is the gate that leads to our backyard:

After we learned that this big fella could jump the above pictured gate,

Jay used his mad improv skills to fashion a totally trash-tastic gate until we (he) could build a better one.

I know, I know...that is probably the worst gate in the entire state of Texas but it got the job done!!

So....

Today we are building a new gate! Here are a few of the pics so far. I will post the new gate once we have it finished and hung.

(Please pardon my carport - it is constantly a construction zone, paint booth, project shed, lumbar yard, and all around crap catcher!)

Since this is a project that Jay can typically knock out himself, I have decided to start the long and dirty process of stripping down these doors. I can't wait to see how they turn out!
